How To instill Eye Drop
Wash your hands
Tilt your head back and look up.
Gently pull down your lower eyelid to make a small pocket.
Hold the bottle over your eye (don’t let it touch your eye) and put one drop into the pocket
Close your eyes gently (don’t blink) and press the corner of your eye near your nose for 2–3 minutes
Wipe away any extra liquid with a clean tissue.
Precautions:
- Prevent Contamination: Never let the tip of the eye drop bottle come into contact with your eye or any other surface to avoid contamination.
- Check Expiration: Always check the expiration date on the eye drop bottle before use and ensure the medication is within the valid period.
- If Using Multiple Drops: If you need to use more than one type of eye drop, wait at least 5-10 minutes between each application.
